Founded in 1986, the Hospitality House has been helping homeless people for 26 years. Supported by our community over all this time, the Hospitality House has a great reputation for its services and safety.
The shelter has 24 beds at the property at 237 N. McPherson Street. There are two building on the property and separate accommodation for families, men and women. The shelter has been remodeled with the substantial help of a CDBG grant through the City of Fort Bragg, as well as invaluable donations of time and supplies from donors including Campbell Timber Group and Fort Bragg Electric.
Our feeding program provides breakfast at 7:AM and dinner at 5:PM to anyone within our community. This is only possible with the help of Fort Bragg Food Bank and the amazing generosity of our community in donating food.
Those seeking a shelter bed can check in at the front door at 4:00 PM each day. Space is limited, and admissions are first come first serve.
Every weekday afternoon we provide showers and laundry facilities to anyone in need. Additionally, we have a clothing closet where donated shoes and apparel can accessed by those in need.
